About This Program
Futures Tennis Academy supports players participating in the Waverley District Tennis Association (WDTA) Junior Competition, providing a structured pathway from internal match play into official club competition.
Junior competition allows players to represent their club, develop match experience, and enjoy tennis in a fun team environment.
Competition participation is strongly encouraged alongside weekly coaching, as playing matches is one of the fastest ways for juniors to improve confidence, tactical awareness, and match skills.
Competition Overview
- Played across Melbourne's eastern suburbs
- Represent East Malvern or Ardrie Park Tennis Club
- Winter Season — May to August
- Summer Season — October to March
- Weekly team-based competition
- Home and away matches
Matches are typically played between 8:15am – 12:15pm depending on age group and grade.
