Neyara Weerawansa

Neyara Weerawansa is a Female Head Coach at Futures Tennis Academy, bringing elite international playing experience and a strong passion for player development.

Originally from Sri Lanka, Neyara was the No.1 ranked junior in her country, competing in leading international junior events including the Apple Bowl and other ITF tournaments. She later represented Sri Lanka as the nation's No.1 player in the Federation Cup (Billie Jean King Cup) and achieved the No.1 national women's ranking.

Since relocating to Melbourne, Neyara has continued competing at a high level in State Grade Pennant while developing her coaching career. She works with players of all ages and standards, with a particular focus on developing high-performing female juniors and supporting pathway progression for competitive players.
