Nithila Goonetilleke

Nithila Goonetilleke is a high-level competitive player and developing coach at Futures Tennis Academy, bringing extensive national and international playing experience to the coaching team.

Having played tennis for over 12 years, Nithila has competed at both national and international junior levels and currently holds a UTR rating of 9.76. His recent achievements include winning the Hard Court National Under 18 Singles Championship (2024), reaching the quarterfinals of the National Gentlemen's Singles event, and being a National U18 Doubles Finalist.

Nithila has also participated in Junior Davis Cup and World Junior Tennis trials. As a coach, he combines modern technical understanding with firsthand competitive experience, helping players develop strong fundamentals, confidence, and a love for the game.
