Lucette Horskins

Lucette Horskins plays an important dual role at Futures Tennis Academy, combining her work as a Tennis Australia Qualified Junior Development Coach with her responsibilities as the academy’s Accounts & Payroll Manager.

On court, Lucette leads coaching programs at St Joseph’s Primary School, where she works closely with beginner and Hot Shots players. She has a particular strength in creating positive first experiences in tennis, helping young players build confidence, develop strong fundamentals and enjoy being on court from the very beginning of their tennis journey.

Known for her enthusiasm, approachable personality and strong connection with families, Lucette is a familiar and welcoming presence across Futures Tennis Academy programs and competitions. Her ability to communicate with both children and parents helps create an environment where players feel supported, engaged and encouraged to continue developing their game.

Away from the court, Lucette plays a key role in the day-to-day administration of Futures Tennis Academy through her work in accounts and payroll. She supports the smooth operation of the academy across its venues and programs, contributing behind the scenes to the organisation and systems that allow the coaching team to focus on delivering quality tennis experiences.

Lucette is also an active tennis player herself and continues to enjoy competing. One of her playing highlights came in 2019, when she won the Kooyong Singles Title in her grade, reflecting her own long-standing involvement in and passion for the sport.

With experience spanning coaching, administration and competition, Lucette brings a valuable combination of organisation, warmth and on-court knowledge to Futures Tennis Academy.
