Himakesh Sankineni

Himakesh Sankineni is the Head Coach at East Malvern Tennis Club and brings strong international playing and coaching experience to Futures Tennis Academy.

Having played tennis since the age of eight, Himakesh achieved a career-high junior ranking of No.19 and No.38 in Men's Open Singles in India. He competed professionally on the ATP circuit before relocating to Australia to pursue his coaching career.

During the 2021 Australian Open, Himakesh was selected as a hitting partner for leading ATP players, including world No.4 Stefanos Tsitsipas. Currently competing in VTA Grade 1 Pennant, he combines elite playing experience with a strong technical coaching approach focused on sound technique, confidence, and match performance.
