We start kids Futures!

Futures Friday night internal competition was the first in Australia commencing in 1993 to use modified balls and small courts to assist young kids to learn to play the game. We have evolved into the largest internal Hot Shot league and Teenage Comp in Australia with 100 kids playing comp.

The comp is held at E.M.T.C and runs each school term, no membership, no away matches, with set start and finish times along with qualified coaches who supervise matches. Players are graded within the colour ball program either level 1 or 2 based on results.

The end of term Presentation & Pizza night is always a highlight.

Hot Shot Leagues

  • Red [1 & 2] 4-4.45 pm
  • Orange [1 & 2] 4-5.30 pm
  • Green [1] 4-5.30 pm OR [2] 5.30-7 pm

All Comps are designed to compliment and extend our coaching programs. That is all Hot Shot coaching coaching pupils play in the equivalent Red, Orange or Green Ball Hot Shots Leagues.

Teen's Tennis Comps for 12 & up

  •  Teenage Social Doubles 5.30-7 pm [meet new friends]
  •   FAST4 5.30-7 pm [No lets, no add, quick matches, set times]

Some teenagers just enjoy a social hit without the pressure or commitment of playing in a team club comp, other due to school commitments can't play weekend comps, whilst others simply just want to play more often.

Our Friday Night programs for teenagers [& in between's] allow for all these variables. The comp has 2 grades, for the serious FAST4 players to the more social Teenage Doubles comp.

If you wish to reach your potential it is important to start comp as soon as possible to understand that tennis is more than just sound technique. It is also strategy, decision making, fitness and social skills.
